I can almost smell there goodness. Cranberries really remind me of fall. There is a beautiful cranberry bog that I go to with my dog . The scenery is stunning and the bees around the bog make the most delicious cranberry honey. P.S. Your helper is adorable.
Oh, I love that last shot with Teddy there helping you out! In my kitchen, it's Dill the cat who helps with everything. He also helps in the study when I'm typing and in the bathroom when I'm washing up and putting in my contacts. I don't know how I'd make it through the day without him!
These cookies sound and look so yummy! I love oatmeal cookies and the addition of walnuts, cranberries and cinnamon are such a plus.
Teddy is getting so big!
I've been on vacation in northern California for the past two weeks and I've really enjoyed the cooler than usual summer this region has been having as NYC's summer has been so hot and humid.
Yes, it is definitely time to say good-bye to summer, whether I want to or not. This morning, I was listening to a song that to me was pretty much part of this summer's sound track, and a wave of melancholy swept over me. Maybe I should to something useful, like baking, to make it pass :-)
That is so funny! I'm thinking about making Oatmeal Raisin Cookies for our church bake sale tomorrow. Fall is truly in the air here also. Give Teddy a cookie and a hug.
Can you leave Teddy alone with the cookies?? My dog figures a way to get them. I like Oatmeal cookies because of the fiber so healthy.. Yvonne, I'd write more bu my Art show is going on,, Ta Ta for now
I just had to say hello to you!! Your blog has me laughing... I've surfed thru a few of your posts, just now... I love why you love those little window clings!!! {I think maybe that's the same reason I do!!} Your little Dandee Girl looks like my 2 kitties! And Teddy looks like one happy guy! Thanx for sharing your recipes--Cranberries & walnuts added to your oatmeal cookies--sounds perfect for fall!!! I can't wait to make your Bessie's dilly casserole bread--I'd love to have a castiron pan like that one! ohhh, and that photo of Vermont,on your sidebar, titled: Late July,2010... I was searching to see if you had taken that picture.... I grew up about 5 miles from that church/covered bridge!!!
the night will never stay, the night will still go by, though with a million stars you pin it to the sky; though you bind it with the blowing wind, and buckle it with the moon, the night will slip away like sorrow or a tune.
