ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!! You must be freezing!! I'll trade you our hot and humid 90 degrees here in NY for your 65 in CA!!! My husband lived in San Diego for several years and he always talks about how beautiful the weather is there all year 'round. Your kitties and squirrel stove are lovely!! :)

Aww, how sweet! Did you disturb them or leave them in bed? LOL!!! I would have! How nice to have a wood stove near by! I can't believe how chilly it is in CA! Yikes! What gives?
ReplyDeleteNothing as cozy as seeing a cat curled up or totally relaxed on a bed, is there!
ReplyDeleteLove the necklace, the squirrel stove and the chair... thank you for the little tour!
to answer ocean breezes...i never disturb them...they can stay as long as they want...i just went back downstairs...they didn't get up till 5 ! :-)
ReplyDeleteoh my. best be quiet about your cooler temps while the rest of the nation swelters! :)
ReplyDeletecute kittens...
...That is too cute! We have two kitties that make themselves at home on our bed sometimes before I get a chance to make it and I go ahead and make the bed anyway. It's kind of our play time when I do, as at first they shoot me 'that' look wondering why I am disturbing their peaceful sleep but shortly thereafter then it turns to play! lol... :o)
ReplyDelete...We were having 115 degree days but today it is a beautiful 82 degrees which I am loving.
...Blessings :o)
55 sure sounds good to me since we are usually 60 degrees above that. :/ Your cats are adorable ... love their names! Hope you are having a great day. Tammy
ReplyDeleteTHats crazy! Its 105 here in Sc. We had a very humid day yesterday! Your kitties are so cute and cuddly! I love ur house! I told my husband that I want an older house then a brand new one!
ReplyDeleteOh Kary, I really miss the times when Kiki and Boston slept with us in bed. Your kitties look so happy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Summer,
Dawn
How indulged are your cats Kary? They look so comfortable. Thrilled to see the beautiful and rampant Morning Glory - so much more exotic and exciting than our pale Bindweed. x
ReplyDeleteOh, how funny are the cats.
ReplyDeleteI'll take your temps any day! We have had temps in the high 90's up until today. A severe storm came through last night and brought some lower temps for one day. They are saying we may have a heat wave next week. YUCK!
Have a good one.
melinda
Well, I don't blame those cats, with 55 degrees in July.
ReplyDeleteOH BOY...EVERY MORNING i HAVE TO CONTEND WITH 3 CATS ON THE BED...NOT WANTING TO MOVE

So happy you love my little kitchen...it is one of my big challenges moving out here to the country. I was use to a wonderful big kitchen with lots of cabinets and draws and now I have none. hahaha
Have a wonderful week

That goodness you clarified why you call it your "squirrel stove." I had all kinds of scenarios running through my mind.
ReplyDeleteI hope you let your kitties sleep the day away, it was much too cold along the coast to kick them out of bed. Thank you for the tour, your little house looks so "New England".
ReplyDeleteDarling kitties...Alice sleeps on the bed in London, but here she is downstairs...or she feels the need to 'guard' us & bark at every little sound! Much love to you my sweet friend...warm & sunny here today, beautiful xoxo Alice & Me

ReplyDeleteI am freezing, too. My friend is visiting from New Orleans and we had lunch on the Pacifica coast yesterday - great Dungeness crab sandwiches but we kept our sweaters on inside the restaurant the whole time! Amazing! It was even chilly the three days we spent in Sacramento this past week!
ReplyDeleteThe cats look absolutely adorable sprawled out on the bed, they know its the most comfy bed in this loving home.
ReplyDeleteYour bed looks so comfy, who could resist? What a couple of cuties!
ReplyDeletecosy bed...smart kitties!
