A Gift From A Friend And Cherry Pie

this is my kitchen window today...a little vase of soft pink snapdragons... and in the back ...through the screen is my window box filled with CANDY BOX impatiens...


do you see that there ? if the house was on fire i would grab that...right along with TEDDY and my kitty's...it's a gift from my dear friend, Julie of http://juliewhitmorepottery.blogspot.com..... YEP...she made that with TEDDY on it !!! I ADORE it !!!




and if you were staying for dessert...tonight it's CHERRY PIE... my favorite !

    'Tis the season for pie, glorious pie...I am heading to the strawberry fields in the morning...by afternoon...a warm strawberry rhubarb pie will be served with french vanilla ice cream, your very delicious looking pie will be my inspiration!     such a thoughtful gift but if the house is on fire and your grabbing your gift grab the pie to it would be a shame for it to burn up it looks yummy.

    Ooh yes, a thoughtful gift and one to cherish...........I have commissioned a mug from Julie, it's winging it's way across the globe as I type.
    It will be on the list of things to grab if there is ever a bushfire, I love her work.
    That cherry pie looks absolute delicious. I don't believe I have ever tried one, but I am sure it would be scrummy, enjoy every morsel......

    A cherished gift that has touched your heart. It doesn't get any better than that, does it? I think that it says a lot about both of you .that your friend would want to make a special ornament for you, knowing that your spirit would feel the love that it not only represents, but that she put into making it too. That bond is a gift for both of you, in itself.

    And now for that pie! Ice cream will be a minor adornment, but I'll bring some anyway! It looks luscious!!!

    Sweet gift!
    I'm getting my cherries in Traverse City tomorrow and just hoping the border patrol doesn't ask me if I have any produce!! My mom had hers taken away once!
    Do you have a good pie crust recipe?
    I used to get the Robin Hood mix, but I can't find it anymore.

    Love it. The black hooks board (not sure exactly what it is called) with the display above looks fantastic. Trying to get some of these kind of features into our new bathroom and laundry but have to convince Hubby. Hope you are having a great weekend. Gx
