  6. Oh.., the kindness of friends. The cards are wonderful.

The flickerig white candle of rememberance, the embroidered coverlette with Buddy's name, the photographs, the well cared for bone, and lovely flowers, all speak love and comfort to the heart.

You remain in my thoughts and prayers.

  63. Hello Kary,

Here in Flordia the temp is 65 degrees. Partly cloudy with some wind. March tries to blow us off the planet.

Spring has sprung quitely with little show for us. New green has not shown yet for the oak trees.

Hope Spring is popping out your part of the country landscape.

    You are in my thoughts....

  64. my dear kary....you are a brave soul. this is not destroying you but making you stronger. each tear you shed shows how much you loved buddy. that does not go unnoticed in this universe. i look at the pics of the new buddy and he has blank eyes. that is just how teddy looked. within hours of being home, the glimmer will be in his eyes because he will be loved. i can't wait!!!

  71. Dear Kary,

Took another morning walk, a little longer today. Enjoyed a butter yellow hibiscus and seeing how a few apartment dwellers have container gardens. Perhaps I shall try it again.

Feel better each day, bit by bit.

    You are in my thoughts.

  73. hi kary..i was just working in the garden with teddy. i do the gardening. she does the guarding. i was thinking of you the whole time. freddy and i spent so much time in the yard together. she died at the end of february just when i would start putzing outside and i could not even go in the yard. we picked teddy up on may 21st. 3 months to the day freddy died and on my husbands birthday. the moment we got home she started running around the yard checking it out. she would move so fast that she would run out of energy every 20 minutes or so and just drop and take a short nap and then start all over again. something tells me you will be having the same experience soon. in the next few days i am going to be posting pics of her when she was a baby so you can see what she looked like. i hope you are having a better day today! hang in there...joyce

  75. I am so saddened to hear you lost your Buddy! As a pet owner/lover my whole life I know the sadness you are going through right now. It doesn't seem fair that our beloved pets do not have the life span we do and that they seem to leave us so soon.

While in mourning I took comfort in the fact that my pets knew they were loved and cared for as a member of the family and that when their time came they were able to pass with dignity. It's all any of us human or animal could hope for in this world.

    My thoughts are with you now. {{{ big hugs}}}}

  78. Dear Kary,

    Good Sunday morning to you!

I took my walk and shower and now all is well. Beautiful Hibiscus red and yellow. Trees still bare branches and a smattering of leaves. Azaleas are in bloom around our County but I've noticed only one in our complex. I was silly excited. I see this azalea out my kitchen window. They are so beautiful.

On my journey in this life I have had losses. I know and understand. Reaching out to you has been my pleasure. Many have reached out to me and I was so thankful.

So very glad you have pulled up a notch. Everything has its own time.

Thinking of you today and happy to have you as a friend. :)
