I just caught up on your blog-- WHOA what I've been missing the last two days! Eggnog Scones sound DIVINE. And French bread with fondue cheese and a fire: PERFECTION.
I've been considering making a wreath lately, too. Maybe I will try yours. Looks simple enough and I LOVE the outcome.
Your pictures are always so... warm. I love the wood, the stack of old books, and the Abraham Lincoln box. Images like those do wonders for the soul.
ANd I have a confession. I did not come up with the Pilgrim Hats :( I stole the idea from this site: http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/marshmallow-pilgrim-hats-682463/
But I found their method VERY messy and wanted to share the method that I found that takes longer but has a MUCH cleaner and therefore sane outcome.
the night will never stay, the night will still go by, though with a million stars you pin it to the sky; though you bind it with the blowing wind, and buckle it with the moon, the night will slip away like sorrow or a tune.
Such wonderful posts during the day, Kary !
