Well my friend, I personally think you're rushing the season, but you being a Cali girl are use to gorgeous weather most of the year! Me, on the other hand being a New England girl has to savor every warm sunny day that comes my way!
That rug is awfully cute! Did you make it? I love how organic it is!
I notice you were talking about Weck canning jars to Susan at Savoring Time in the Kitchen. Susan, at From Beyond My Kitchen Window and I have been fawning over them also! I hope to order some soon!
Hi there my friend, I love this hooked rug-yes fall is on the way. I would love to see your home decorated for any season. Hey-a question for you....do you can your own tomato sauce? My daughters are wanting to and I've never canned any tomatos, sauces or any other ways(I'm a bit scared on canning vege's). Do you have a post on it or a favorite recipe? Any info would be really helpful. Hugs to you and Teddy, Love, Noreen & Reggie
What a darling rug, fall is quickly approaching, my favorite time of year. I can feel it in the air and see it in the light especially the afternoon light.
Coming from New England with our bitter cold and snowy winters, I'm still enjoying the summer. Fall is my favorite season but winter comes so soon after that. It very hard to let go of August. Love the rug!! Susan
That is the cutest thing!!! I am getting the itch! School goes back around here at the end of the month, I am trying to hold out for that before I start breaking out the colors! Have a great week.
Hello you:). Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet, sweet comments:). It's so good to hear from you. I see you're ready for fall too:). This little rug is a gem:). Adorable- where did you find it?? Happy end of summer/ beginning of fall to you and Teddy;). I can't wait to see more of fall in Cambria!
I love this rug! I think it should be on your wall! I used to have a Claire Murray Outlet store nearby, but it closed...so sad! I guess I should learn to hook and make one for myself.
YES!! Time to get it out...it's definitely Autumnal over here...& I can just see little Teddy curled up on that gorgeous rug...he'll look adorable! Much love to you from Me & Alice xoxo
It is really cute and looks like they're praying before their feast. However, I'm not ready for fall because that means cold, ice and snow will be here soon so I would have to keep it in hiding for a long while.
I usually resist decorating for fall until October as it doesn't feel like autumn until the leaves change color. September is all about the end of summer and apple pie :0)
I think it is absolutely delightful! I have a terrible case of Fall fever right now. Oh goodness, it is all I ca think of. Hugs to you, Teddy and the precious kitties, my sweet.
That rug is unique and I'm sure you treasure it. I know I would. I'm relatively new to your blog and I don't often comment, but every so often I like to tell those I visit that I'm here and how much I enjoy the time I spend on their sites. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
I do a little rug hooking and I love that design! It looks like an antique pattern--do you know anything about who designed it? As much as I love summer, we had a heat index of 107 today and I'm looking forward to autumn breezes! V
the night will never stay, the night will still go by, though with a million stars you pin it to the sky; though you bind it with the blowing wind, and buckle it with the moon, the night will slip away like sorrow or a tune.
cute!
