GOOD NEWS !!!!

we FOUND PETE !!!! he flew over the fence next door..we are off to rescue him !!!!!

UPDATE: i walked outside to the garden shed to microwave a tortilla...that's where the micro is around here .....and heard.... peep peep peep .... i looked over the the neighbors fence and on the firewood stack....... there he was !!!!! JOHN !!!! i FOUND PETE !!!! he literally flew the coop last night...but he is back home next door...swimming in his pond... Pete is HAPPY...and so are we !!!! welcome back home, my little friend !!!

    @the wild magnolia, I, too, must have missed a post and had no idea Pete was missing. And now I have to confess I don't even know who Pete is... apart from a close friend of mine whose name is Pete as well, but last I knew, he wasn't missing :-)

    Thank the Lord! So glad you found Pete! So often when our pets and fur babies go missing they are never to be found and that hurts so bad! He just got a little adventuresome and had to explore a bit! Glad he is back home safe and sound...quack quack!!

    Yay!! So happy you found sweet Pete! What a great name for a duck. We used to have many on the farm when I was young...loved them so much and used to sit in the duckhouse while they laid their eggs, talking to them. Beautiful birds. Cold, rainy & grey here today...good baking weather but Alice is NOT happy!! Love to you dear Kary & that Teddy-bear! xoxoxo

    Hmmm... what to call Pete now? We made the same mistake with a lamb once, kept wondering why 'she' was not pregnant. We forgot to read 'Livestock 101'.
