Oh how nice that would be if fall was right around the corner. Unfortunately for us down here in s.e. FL we've got at least another 3 months of heat and humidity.
Ohhh! Summer has barely begun here, and I would be crushed to see yellow leaves. We had such a cold spring in Maine this year, and we're just having our first summer weather this week.
Hope you had a beautiful holiday weekend, my friend! Thanks so much for the lovely comment over at my place. I've been swamped with work, so I haven't been commenting as often lately, but I always love visiting your beautiful blog. Big hugs!
I could be wrong but I think that if you see yellow leaves like this then who are seeing a plant or tree that is stressed. Any great gardeners out there know if this is true? Kay
It's true that AUTUMN is my very favorite season...but I'm inclined to think maybe this tree has been deprived of water??? Oh, surely, it's not quite time for FALL...all things in due time. Right? Now,if were the middle of August...!
OMG, what is happening, my eyes, my eyes!!!! Please take that photo off of your blog. I haven't even stuck my toes in the ocean yet this summer. LOL! Cute post Kary!!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, I've missed you and Teddy! Lovely colors of the leaves, but really? Already turning color?! Have a delightful week dear friend! Xoxoxo ~Ashley
Oh no! If that is even a hint at autumn I do not want any part of it as here in the Pacific NW it has just now started acting like summer...I will forget I saw those leaves...xo
Am I hallucinating from the heat? Are those REALLY amber leaves? Oh PLEASE say it is so! They are my light at the end of the tunnel. .glorious Fall color!
Thank you SO much for giving me that glimpse of hope!
Oh my goodness! Is that a Fall image??? You are such a tease, Kari. ;-)
It is in the high 90's here with sweltering humidity. It makes it difficult for a little green witch to remember not to rush each season.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I just love you and Teddy. BTW...that photo of Baby Teddy with (I am guessing your hand) on the sidebar just made me absolutely melt. What a sweet LOVE! Hugs to you, Teddy and the precious kitties.
the night will never stay, the night will still go by, though with a million stars you pin it to the sky; though you bind it with the blowing wind, and buckle it with the moon, the night will slip away like sorrow or a tune.
oh get out of town!!!! YES!!! thank you god!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds cool, literally!

Is that a gingho branch?
ReplyDeleteautumn... really?
ReplyDeleteOh, no. No, no, no, no, no. We do not want yellow leaves at the beginning of July. We want SUMMER first, and then autumn!
ReplyDeleteWe all seem to love fall, in the midst of summer heat and humidity, we long for autumn.
