that's me...good thing i am alone in here. well....me and teddy...wearing blue shoes and socks and a cherry apron with an old tea towel hanging from my apron string... my standard kitchen wear.
i got some beautiful eggplant at that saturday farmers market and decided to just make an old fashion eggplant parmesan... i got the bread crumbs ready...
Mmmm! Now I'm hungry. It's amazing what images can do to the mind and tummy. Your blue socks and shoes reminded me of the blue slipper socks I wore with my orange bathing suit this past weekend. Thankfully no one was around. ;) Thanks for sharing! Blissful tidings! Sandra
Love this! I adore eggplant. I am having to sit and smell my shells in the oven now ;) I think I will make zucchini pizza for dinner. I love all these things and am looking for more gluten free everyday! Yours looks yummy!! Hope it was just great! Love the shoes and socks too ;) Hugs, Lisa
That is one of my FAVOURITE dishes and YES, I can see dande ~ LOL! I LOVE your photo of your shoes too..............shall I bring some wine over? Karen
It looks like it's going to be quite a party with all of us and all that wine!! You've reminded me that I haven't baked aubergine parmigiana for YEARS! Why not??? Love this post my friend and a look at what you see when you look down! I was looking for Teddy at your feet though...love to you both from Alice & Me xoxo
see...that is exactly why i love animals. you can dress anyway you want around them and they love you all the same! yummy dinner! was dande sneaking some?
I wouldn't have seen dande unless you had mentioned him:) That recipe looks delicious and so easy to make....a must try! Do you use just plain tomato sauce or a marinara?
Eggplant parmesan is the only way I really like eggplant, and when I say I really like it I mean I REALLY like it. There's no need to be fancy with good food like this around. :)
Hi there, Thanks for sharing this recipe-it will come in handy as my youngest daughter planted four eggplants and they've never eaten it before. Can't wait to try your dish. Have a wonderful evening my friend. Noreen & Reggie
You look "dressed" compared to the rags I hang out in! Cute combination-the socks and shoes. Yes, I see dande. Is he waiting for a bite? I love this recipe since it is so quick and easy. And tasty!
I love, love, love eggplant in so many ways. Your shoes and socks and apron are just so cute - like something from a story book about a fairy tale kitchen.
I made soup today and that soup had 4 eggplants that we grew in the soup. They have been very happy in this heat and have given us about 4 a day for 7 weeks. I have cooked dishes and put them in the freezer and we are eating eggplant almost everyday. I have signed up today to foster a dog and see if that dog would be a good fit for us. The dog was due to be put to sleep today and now that dog is at the vets and maybe they will bring me her tomorrow. We will see. I'll keep you posted. Love your kitchen out-fit.... xx, Fern
I love eggplants - should go out for Italian food one of these days. I live close to an Asian market with all sorts of Oriental eggplants and I often do it stir fried - or I make ratatouille - I do love my vegetables!
Oh that does look good Kary! Nice to see I'm not the only one to dress down for the kitchen - sweet shoes and socks! My daughter loves taking photos of her feet like that! She also loved the pics of Teddy when I showed her yesterday!! Gill xx
The dog is going to be here next Monday and it will invade Happy's happy home!! Do you have cats? I have always had cats and dogs with out really any trouble. I hope I can say that next weeks end. Stay tuned!! xx, Fern
the night will never stay, the night will still go by, though with a million stars you pin it to the sky; though you bind it with the blowing wind, and buckle it with the moon, the night will slip away like sorrow or a tune.
Mmmm! Now I'm hungry. It's amazing what images can do to the mind and tummy.
