tip toeing downstairs in stocking feet to light another fire and make tea. toasting little circles of bread and spreading them with Maine blueberry jam...a gift from a friend...making my list for Thanksgiving shopping. soaking beans for soup. listening to Gregorian Chant for Christmas.
adding another log to the fire and pouring another cup of tea. thinking of you. and wishing you all a blessed THANKSGIVING...
What a wonderful way to start your day!

Happy Thanksgiving!
your day sound magical! mine was more like: get the daughters breakfast and lunch ready, make the vat of gravy, make a gazillion pie crusts, make the cranberry sauce. feel like this cold is killing me ( i never get sick) and forget to make the brine. so i have another very busy day ahead of me tomorrow. this might actually be flu since the palms of my hands hurt as do all of my teeth. weird!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have the right way to start your day! Have a very blessed Thanksgiving too! Traci

Sounds like a glorious start to a day--I love the serenity of those quiet kind of days, especially if I don't have to leave the house! I spent almost an entire day last week in my nightgown! It was wonderful--even the solitude.
