I Just Couldn't Wait

I have this old camp sign that came from Maine. On the back are signatures and dates from 1947 to about 1957. Must be the names of the people that stayed at the camp. I just hung it up by the back door. I just can't wait any longer. You can't see it, but right next to the sign is a huge old pine tree...

  11. Hi Kary,
That sign is so cute and perfect next to the pine tree. Love that you have sigs on the back, a little mystery of who those people are and the story they would tell about their stay at the camp.

Rec'd your comment about LG and Kennedy Road, yes rings a bell as does N. Santa Cruz Avenue and so many others, it's so good to see it in writing though from someone that knows the beautiful town well. It is a small world!

Your blog has that small town feel which I so adore. I'll follow along too, happy night.

  13. Kary, you discovered that wonderful Pumpkin sign in Maine? Okay, I have to ask what town? and why didn't I discover it first. I must confess I go to my garden everyday and admire my beautiful Cinderella pumpkins, I pray the deer do not discover them. If you travel to Maine again you must come for a visit and bring dear Teddy!

In response to your question, I live in Santa Rosa, CA. The Julia Child tomatoes I mentioned in my blog were, I think, bred fairly recently in Monterey.I sure hope I see some red on them soon.
