Giveaway At Farmhouse For A Teacup

O.K. well, I am coming close to my 200th post on My Farmhouse Kitchen and thought it would be time to do a Giveaway...I thought about what it should be. Hmmmmm

And then it hit me..A Sprigware Teacup. Cause it's what Farmhouse is all about. Friends...stopping by to visit and have a cup of tea and a warm cookie just out of the oven.

I have collected Sprigware for a very long time and I just love it.They are pieces of porcelain that are very old...most of what I have came from my cruising ebay...and it seemed that time and time again..when I would get a piece..it usually came from somewhere up in New England...

So my dear sweet ones, please leave a comment and I'll add your name to the bucket for the draw which I will do next week....and as I reach my 200th post it makes me reflect on what this blog world has done for my life.It has enriched it in ways I never could have imagined. When I started back in July of 2009, I had bought a camera and I didn't even know where you turned it on. Jeff ... Sharon's husband taught me how. Thanks Jeff ! Little did I know then..that by turning on the button to a camera..I would also be turning on a light in my life. And that light in my life is all of you. I cherish all of your friendships...and I have been lucky enough to make some very, very dear friends...you mean the world to me and I love you all...

  15. Oh, yes, count me in! I am such a tea drinker and love all kinds of cups! And this one is just gorgeous!! (Will it come with cookies fresh from the oven?!) I feel the same way about blogging and dear friends like you!! So glad we met!!

As I am writing this, the bean soup from one of your previous posts is in the slow cooker and a loaf of rye bread in the oven. It smells so good! I had a half bunch of kale leftover, so I just added that to the soup as well. Can't wait to taste it all!!

    Love, Silke

  18. You are so sweet for putting a favorite tea cup as the prize in your giveaway!

I love "stopping by" your Farmhouse every day. I always feel as welcome as an old friend when I visit. I enjoy having you stop by my blog, as well.

Thanks for the info. on the cast iron pans. I think you may have convinced me to try using mine. I know I have to season my new pan, but do I have to reseason my old ones? They belonged to my grandma and look well used.

  27. Greetings to you,

This is my first visit to your blog after seeing a small image of your beautiful tea cup on another blog. I clicked on it because I am in the process of developing a tea blog 'A tea for Sunday' via blogspot and have been collecting links.

I feel a little awkward entering your drawing as this is my first visit, but I like the tea cup.

Your masthead is marvelous as is the flow of your blog. There is much interest for a visitor, as well as a rich sidebar.

    Warmest regards,
    Egmont
