O.K. well, I am coming close to my 200th post on My Farmhouse Kitchen and thought it would be time to do a Giveaway...I thought about what it should be. Hmmmmm
And then it hit me..A Sprigware Teacup. Cause it's what Farmhouse is all about. Friends...stopping by to visit and have a cup of tea and a warm cookie just out of the oven.
I have collected Sprigware for a very long time and I just love it.They are pieces of porcelain that are very old...most of what I have came from my cruising ebay...and it seemed that time and time again..when I would get a piece..it usually came from somewhere up in New England...
So my dear sweet ones, please leave a comment and I'll add your name to the bucket for the draw which I will do next week....and as I reach my 200th post it makes me reflect on what this blog world has done for my life.It has enriched it in ways I never could have imagined. When I started back in July of 2009, I had bought a camera and I didn't even know where you turned it on. Jeff ... Sharon's husband taught me how. Thanks Jeff ! Little did I know then..that by turning on the button to a camera..I would also be turning on a light in my life. And that light in my life is all of you. I cherish all of your friendships...and I have been lucky enough to make some very, very dear friends...you mean the world to me and I love you all...
I would love to win a teacup and, if I do, hold it for me to sip a cup of tea with you when I am in SLO.
ReplyDeleteI love the new picture at the top of your blog, as it reminds me that spring is really on the way.
ReplyDeleteI love the handle on this teacup, its very unique! I love teacups, I have a wonderful collection of them from my Man's grandmother and some from my friend, Perry's grandmother... I feel very lucky that they thought I should have them!
ReplyDeleteoh, am i first? *smile* so glad we found each other in bloggy world.
ReplyDeleteooooohhhhhhh!!! Kary, I LOVE it! Happy 200th post! How exciting:). I must say, you've come a VERY long way from not even knowing where the button on a camera is:). But that was a funny image:)I feel very luck to have met you as well!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Blair

ReplyDeleteAs I am writing this, the bean soup from one of your previous posts is in the slow cooker and a loaf of rye bread in the oven. It smells so good! I had a half bunch of kale leftover, so I just added that to the soup as well. Can't wait to taste it all!!
Love, Silke

ReplyDeleteI love "stopping by" your Farmhouse every day. I always feel as welcome as an old friend when I visit. I enjoy having you stop by my blog, as well.
Thanks for the info. on the cast iron pans. I think you may have convinced me to try using mine. I know I have to season my new pan, but do I have to reseason my old ones? They belonged to my grandma and look well used.
