This is the month that my job ended. I cannot believe my anniversary of unemployment looms near...on the 20th. I will be in GA that day, visiting my mother...a year of feeling totally useless. I miss the children and my life as a forensic nurse!
It's wonderful to say "Welcome February !" by visiting blogs of lovely friends like you :) It's a positive way to re-start life with a new month, new hope, new challenges... Let's go to February with the hole strength of our hearts !
Sorry I've not been around; it was a busy week and even busier weekend. I've posted a number of poems, created a new blog on Wordpress and spent quite a bit of time with my mother over the weekend.
It is wonderful to be into February, isn't it? I do think it's different for you though - we have snowflurries and lots more winter to come, that's for sure.
Hey,rather than having to keep visiting "Blasts From the Past" (I only post there infrequently) if you want to send me a message, e-mail me at poetikat46@yahoo.ca
I like the new header photo, by the way and your favourite store in the post below sounds and looks charming.
Hey, Kary - Love that image - how perfect for February! Glad January is gone, although the frigid temps continue. Any suggestions for some good comfort food for Super Bowl weekend? Cheers, Jen
the night will never stay, the night will still go by, though with a million stars you pin it to the sky; though you bind it with the blowing wind, and buckle it with the moon, the night will slip away like sorrow or a tune.
