Today is the day that we all share THE SIMPLE THINGS...which is being hosted by the lovely Christina from Soul Aperture. It is my pleasure to take part in such a wonderful event...and for such a worthy cause. You see...for each person that participates, Christina is donating a dollar to Doctors Without Borders to aid the people of Haiti.
The Simple Things

ReplyDeleteI love your list, my favorite is the love of my dog. I don't know where I would be without it. I suppose that is kind of crazy but I think you will understand!
ReplyDeletei live 4 doors away from a church that plays it's bells several times a day. it is one of my favorite things about living here. i used to travel all over the world. when i designed my gardens, i brought aspects of things i fell in love with every where. it was so cool that this church just happened to start playing their bells around the same time. perfect!

ReplyDeleteOh. OH my. Your list is like looking at great art. It fills me with shivers and dreams. A hundred voices of a January wind - that should be the title of a poem. Oh wait. Maybe it is. Planting by the moon.... sigh.
ReplyDeleteI love your list, yes those simple things are that things that matter the most.Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love and agree with everyone one of your 'simple things'. In fact, everyone of them brought me peace or contentment when I visualized them. wonderful. And... your comment on my blog about the difficulty of crocheting: I had taken a class centuries ago, but now if I want to learn a new stitch, I find that a step by step drawing is what works for me--could be just the way we learn differently, but you might give that a shot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Life is all about those simple pleasures. I agree on the warm bed.;)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend,
xo
