Buddy's Going To Be O.K.

We just got GOOD NEWS ! ! ! I might as well tell all of you, I have been sitting here holding Buddy crying all morning....thinking the worst..and the vet just called...Buddy will be fine. All little old dogs have this. I asked her, is he going to die? She said, no, Buddy is not dying..He will be just fine. She is prescribing a medication that will help him, said it might just be an episode...

I have to tell all of you how much I love you and am so very thankful for each and everyone of you. It's just me and Buddy here on the farm most of the time..and I find so much comfort knowing I have all of you. Thank you all so much for the kind words, thoughts and prayers.It means more to me than you'll ever know.....

    Yeah,what a relief. Our pets are so important to us and fill our lives with so much love. I'm so glad Buddy will be ok. Penny and Lily are happy to. I know how you feel when you imagine them gone-it is so sad. But today is a happy day and we celebrate with you.

    What a relief! I am so glad for you, but don't you wish our pets would live as long as we do? The fear of losing them is almost worse than the loss.

    OHMYGOSH...coming in late here and happy to hear the great news! Truly, I know what you've gone through with a sick companion animal. We've had poor Boscoe to the vet several times lately and we've lost eight of our be-loved animals this year.

    I've just read your last entry ....It must have been horrible for you all and I'm so glad there's something that can be done to make him feel better .

    Kary! I'm so glad Buddie is ok! Dogs are such kindred spirits...there's nothing like coming home to that kind of unconditional love.

    Marc and I would like to get a dog very soon. We think it would be good for Jonathan have that kind of love for an animal in his life. If only life revolve around children, pets and gardens, the world would be a better place!

    Was it something like Kennel cough? I am sooo glad buddie will be OK as we all jsut got to know him at the tea and he seems like such a friendly lil' dog. I know what you mean too about one's blog friends becoming quite an important part of one;s life, especially if cut off or in transition, etc.
