Thanksgiving Eve Greetings From Farmhouse

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, dear friends. I've made the cranberry sauce and am off to pick up a few last minute things for Thanksgiving. I couldn't leave without wishing all of you a peaceful and blessed Thanksgiving Day with your family and friends. All of you have given me so much pleasure over the past few months with your visits and inspriation. When I started this blog last July I had no idea how much it would open my world to meeting so many wonderful new friends from all over the world. But it has. I am so lucky to have met all of you and I look forward to the Christmas holidays. I am thankful for each and every one of you and I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

Peace is so easy but it's a pitty that so many still prefer war :( Well, but we're doing our best and making this world a better place through our words ! :D

  2. Your Thanksgiving decorations are beautiful! We go to my parents' house for Thanksgiving, so I've spent the afternoon cooking and baking side dishes and desserts to take along.

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  3. Kary, a very Happy Thanksgiving to you. I count you as a friend I've made while blogging this year and for that I am thankful. I have so much to be thankful for this year my heart is over flowing. Enjoy your turkey dinner and green bean casserole. We will be on the road driving to Scottsdale to spend a few days with my mother. Taking the dogs to visit grandma! Lorrie

  12. Aw...I love hearing about my old "stomping grounds" on your blog!! I talked to my two oldest sons today who still live there in AG and it made me miss that area. I do love it here in Utah. We are having very autumnish weather and DO have the flannel sheets on now..but I do miss "home".
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year...cooking, reading, relaxing...and eating one of my favorites..roast turkey..yum!
I hope you had a wonderful day!!

  15. Kary,
I didn't find your kitchen, but I enjoyed seeing bits of your home. I love all your books on your cases. I noticed a flower frog in this post, and wanted to tell you I use some for holding photos, cards, and such, too. I also have a collection I am no longer active in adding to, as I have run out of room. Do you collect them? If you have a post of your kitchen, maybe you could send me a link.

I forgot to mention how lovely your home is on your header photo. Your new puppy looks like a sweetie.

One of the reasons I wanted to see your kitchen is that we just got ours remodeled. We didn't have a lot of choices, as we went with a company that did the job in 4 days, and some of the things were not done how the contractor said they were going to be, but all in all, we are happy with it. If I didn't have a husband with opinions, there would have been some things done differently, but I'm so glad we did it, because our small kitchen is more functional.

I have some of those cookbooks you have in your sidebar, by the way.
