You're funny bringing leaves into your yard! Looks like you're ready for fall and is that a pig I spy in that last pic? He needs a mask for Halloween too:@)
ReplyDeleteHi there dear friend, Love seeing your sights as always. We are having about 85 degrees here today and its warm. Give Teddy a big hug for me.
ReplyDeleteLove,Noreen & Reggie
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteA few small sections of the large maple tree in our backyard are beginning to turn red. Very soon, they will be all over the yard and you are more than welcome to come by and take as many leaves as you like!! With all of the mature trees in and around our yard, we could probably provide enough fall leaves to decorate your entire neighborhood!
Not only ready for Fall I would say but for Haloween too;)) Fantastic garden you have there:))Cats sure feel happy in it;)
ReplyDeleteI find that Teddy's color is perfect for wonderful Autumn colors...have a great weekend, hugs and ciao Flavia

The leaves are just starting to turn on the tops of the tress around here. Sunday I'm heading up to the mountains of New Hampshire for parents weekend at my daughter's college. The leaves always turn a little sooner up there. Love all the great pics.

Beautiful photos but I feel just the opposite about fall. I'm happy to have warm, sunny days last as long as possible (like until Sunday when it's supposed to rain).

You made my evening! You, Teddy, John and that Ralph Lauren shirt. I have an old RL shirt too, now every time I take it out in the fall, I shall think of you, Kary.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby's taking Oct. 29 thru first week of November so we can celebrate.. I so get your excitement. Do you watch the old TCM movies around Halloween? I live for it!

ReplyDeleteLast night, I took out a sweet pumpkin-scented candle and lit it in the living room... yep, it's definitely that time of the year again! Love the orange flowers, they remind me of my parents' garden.

I'm trying very hard at the moment to keep my 4 children off the subject of Christmas festivities long enough to focus on Halloween...but we do have some lovely plans for the day and some lovely handmade decorations to make! :)
ReplyDeleteFall is looking good at your place. It is my favorite season.
ReplyDeleteOh! I love seeing your garden, thanks for the tour! It's quite cool here today, 60 degrees!

It is good to have you posting again, I've missed you. I celebrate Halloween through your excitement about it so I'm glad you are back.
ReplyDeleteI love your Halloween spirit. Here in the UK it is being celebrated, though a bit grumpily as it is an "American" holiday. Having grown up in Vermont, where we had fabulous Halloween outings, I fully embrace the spooky fun of it!
ReplyDeleteYou are ready for fall and halloween ...I love it all! Everything looks so warm and inviting. There is something about autumn that feels so cozy and homey and you express this so well. This is my absolute favorite time of year. We put all of our decorations out last weekend, too. Have a great fall weekend...it's chilly and cloudy here.
