I got this picture today of Teddy...there he is...isn't he adorable? Look at his tail. Curled all the way up. I still have not seen him in person, Valerie sent me the picture this morning...The other lady there is adopting the little girl she named Frenchie. That's Teddy's sister. Look at that sweet face..can you take it? I can't stop looking at him. I am IN LOVE. What a little love bug.
Only 10 days to go. Who me? Counting the days. Really?

I was over at jaz@octoberfarm and read your comment...my eyes were tearing up as I read it and I had to come visit your blog and now that I have, I'm your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteI live with a house full of dogs now. But 6 years ago I lost my "Maddie". To this day it's hard to talk about her. She was a Golden Retriever who was always there in my time of need. I lost her when she was 12 to cancer. She had seen me through some very difficult times and kept me going when nothing else would. I have not been able to get another Golden because I didn't think it would be fair to the new dog, he/she could never measure up to my "Maddie".
I now have my "Blue" a deaf Great Dane mix and my little Ruby- an "accident" between 2 purebreds and now the love of my life. I have my herd of little rescue dogs. But I have to tell you about "Louie". He is a little black toy poodle whose owner wanted to put to sleep because he kept throwing up. I adopted him instead. When he first threw up at my house, he was trembling when I reached for him. After that when he would get excited and throw up, I would rub his neck and give him kisses and he calms right down. He now very rarely throws up and that's only when there's a lot of commotion going on. I think he must have lived in a very stressful house. Now that he's here, he plays with the other little ones and throws his toy in the air and chases it. Right now he is sleeping in my lap...I'm sorry for rambling on, that always happens when I talk about my critters. Take care, I look forward to hearing about your Teddy!
What a very cute puppy, I hope you have a wonderful time together.
ReplyDeleteDouble comment here Kary....Teddy=adorable...pasta with ham=delicious...nuff said...hope you have a perfectly wonderful Monday!

What a precious little pup! MEANT for you in every way!
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolute sweetie pie! I do hope that he loves being cuddled, because I get the feeling that you're not going to want to let him go for very long at a time, and I don't blame you!
ReplyDeleteIt tickles me. .he has absolutely no idea how much he is already loved, just from photographs! What a grand life awaits him! All dogs should be so lucky.
What a special place this is to visit...full of love for our four legged best friends...and as for oldcatblackboo, what a lovely lady you are.

ReplyDeleteDandelion...one of my very first memories is of being a little girl sitting in my front yard and picking Dandelion's and tying them together to make a necklace, bracelet and a crown. I can remember someone saying they were "weeds" and I remember being SO angry! They were NOT weeds! They were beautiful flowers that turned into soft white puffs!
ReplyDeleteThey were magical...I LOVE that name!
I have a pic of a painting that I did of a grey kitty and a Dandelion, that's posted on my blog (somewhere, LOL! Can't remember but...)
I just love that your kitty is named that!
What a wonderful blog to just discover!

AAAdorable! Each one is special and there's no one to take their place but, somehow, the hole in our hearts is healed over.
