New Years Breakfast at Farmhouse

It's all quiet and cloudy here this morning at Farmhouse.
Last night on New Year's Eve we sat around the fire like 2 mice dipping little cubes of french bread into melting cheese fondue, sipping champagne, Buddy tucked in a snowman blanket between the two of us.After supper we added another log to the fire and nibbled on raspberries in cream and shortbread cookies. We had a wonderful, cozy New Years Eve, even though we were fast alseep upstairs when the New Year arrived.

  2. Happy New Year's to you Kary and Buddy,

My that Farm house brekkie looks mighty good! I can smell it all the way up here. Your blog is such a delight to the eye and palate. Bad for my planned diet though. Must work on my willpower.

    Fondly,

    Marjorie

P.S. Not to mention the fondue, which is my husband's all time fav.

  13. Thanks for popping into my garden..... Scooter is my nickname for the hubbie... He is really Scott... His whole family has called him Scooter for a long time, as he scooted
around pretty quickly as a kid.

Off to bed now.... Thinking about what to blog about tomorrow...

  15. Great breakfast 'cept I like bacon better than sausage -smile-.
Wanted to let you and Buddy know...Boscoe died. He struggled greatly but just couldn't overcome his "illness"...whatever it was. He's being cremated and will be buried with our beloved Shadow, the Rhodesian Ridgeback. I'm good with this decision, Bos is no longer struggling.

  17. Happy New Year to my fellow Californians!
OK, so we don't have trees and gentle hills draped in glittering snow, but we can appreciate these gentle, balmy days....sun peeking out as the leaves fall...
greetings and good health also to Buddy
